Terms & conditions

Last updated: 21 March 2026

These terms govern your use of PHP to Rust: Learning Platform (the “service”), including the website, course materials, exercises, and related features. By creating an account or purchasing access, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

We provide online training content and tools aimed at developers learning Rust from a PHP background. We may update, add, or withdraw parts of the course or platform where reasonably necessary (for example to fix errors, comply with law, or improve quality). We will try to minimise disruption to your learning.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or put the service or other users at risk.

3. Licence to use course content

When you have valid access (including after a successful purchase), we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the course materials for your own learning. You may not:

  • resell, share, or redistribute the materials (including on public sites or “course dump” repositories);
  • use automated means to scrape or bulk-download content except where we clearly provide an export or download for that purpose;
  • remove copyright or attribution notices.

4. Purchases & access

Fees, taxes, and the scope of what is included are described at checkout and on our pricing page. Access is linked to your account. You must not attempt to obtain access without paying where a fee applies, or to circumvent technical restrictions.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service—for example by attacking or probing our systems, harassing others, uploading malware, or using the service in a way that violates applicable law. We may investigate and take action, including removing content or terminating access.

6. Third parties

The service may link to or rely on third parties (such as payment providers). Their terms and privacy practices apply to those parts of the experience.

7. Disclaimers

The course is provided for educational purposes. It is not professional legal, financial, or security advice. We do not guarantee specific employment or certification outcomes. Where the law allows, the service is provided “as is” without warranties that are not expressly stated in these terms.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (such as lost profits or data) arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for claims arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for course access in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim (or, if none, a reasonable nominal amount). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will publish the new version on this page and adjust the “Last updated” date. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to let you know (for example by email or a notice in the product). Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Contact

For questions about these terms, email us at [email protected] or use the details on your purchase confirmation.
